Halloween Sensory Activity {Goblin Guts}

This is an activity Rosie and Jewel had lots of fun with last year.  We briefly described it in a Halloween sensory collection last year but I really feel it deserves it's own post.

I hid all sorts of fun & silly Halloween treasures in goblin guts.  I even hid a few pieces of wrapped candy as a special surprise.  The girls had so much fun hunting for and collecting the treasures.

To make Goblin Guts you will need:
  • Cooked pasta noodles
  • Green food coloring or liquid watercolors
  • Cooking oil
  • Spiders, eyeballs, and anything else you think would make a good goblin guts
  • Optional- wrapped candy
Cook pasta noodles as you normally would.  Drain and run under cold water.  Coat with oil to prevent sticking.  Then add food coloring or liquid watercolors until the desired color is achieved.  Allow 10-15 minutes to dry.  Then toss in whatever you would like and hide the treasures in the guts.  I left a few items on top but most of the goodies were hidden.

Rosie and Jewel had a blast with this Halloween sensory hunt

Finding the treasures was their favorite part.  Lots of giggles were had as they dug through the guts
