Have you ever tried stamping or printing with fruits or vegetables? You can use an apple, potato, celery, and even romaine leaves. Really, you could use just about anything. We have had fun experimenting with all sorts of food stamping art. Today we put a fun twist on potato printing and made pumpkin prints!
Pumpkin Potato Printing
To make our Potato Pumpkin Prints I cut a potato in half and carved a pumpkin face into each half. Then I set out orange and black paint and a piece of poster board.
As soon as Rosie saw this art invitation she got right to stamping!
Rosie loves stamps and the carved potatoes were the perfect size for her to grasp with her whole hand.
It wasn't long before the whole paper was covered in pumpkins!
